Application Packet

Any project with a soil disturbance of 5,000 square feet or more requires a Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Plan be submitted to our office for review. Once the plans are received and are found to be administratively correct then the plans are reviewed within 30 days. If the plans are found to be in accordance with the Standards for Soil Erosion and Sediment Control in New Jersey, the plan will be certified and approved for construction.

Standards for Soil Erosion and Sediment Control in New Jersey are available for purchase through our office at $35 per copy if picked up, or $40 if mailed. Checks should be made payable to Camden County SCD – 423 Commerce Lane, Suite 1, West Berlin, NJ 08091. Orders should include a contact name and number, postal mailing address and zip code.

The application packet contains the CCSCD application, fee schedule, basin data summary sheet, CCSCD notes, property owner authorization form and reviewer check list. The applicant needs to submit the following along with the above mention items:

  • 1 Complete set of plans
  • 4 Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Plans
  • 1 Copy of the Stormwater Drainage Report (including stability and erosion control calculations)
  • 1 Copy of the Stream Encroachment Report (if applicable)


Plans may be prepared by an engineer or architect licensed in the State of New Jersey. Submit completed application forms and plans, with original signatures, and fees to the District for review and certification.
